Wow! I am super inspired by all of the Sunny weather here in Seattle. I write to the sound of the ice cream man, kids playing, and the smell of barbecue and lush gardens already in bloom. What is going on!? Where is the Seattle June Gloom? It seems easier though I have to say to write about something in the distance for me. Something more imaginary than all too real. So frozen things and dreamy Christmas scenes are clearer when I am listening to the air conditioner hum and watching my dog all hot and sleepy from his long hot walk earlier. I am pleased that I was able to write 7 keeper Christmas originals, knowing some will be scrapped as they may not fit the vibe of the whole album. Soon as it grows warmer we begin recording at Skoor Sound .
