Musefest- The Power of Women's Voices

Kristin is performing this year's Muse Fest-The Power of Women’s Voices (free admission) music festival during the May 9 Second Thursday West Seattle Art Walk. Muse Fest is co-presented by The Art of Music and local musician Sue Quigley. Make plans now to attend a special event, free of charge: Muse Fest: The Power of Women’s Voices will be part of the next Second Thursday Art Walk on May 9! Kristin performs at Otter on the Rocks where you can also enjoy a craft cocktail. These free admission performances will run concurrently from 6:00 to 7:45pm, with one 15-minute break midpoint, at some of your favorite participating Art Walk businesses. We have descriptions for each musician in the post below to help you in planning where to visit. Spend all evening at your favorite venue, or try to visit as many as you can! Many of the venues are food and drink establishments offering “Art Walk Specials,” so ask your server for the deal to make your evening complete.

This sweet holiday tradition is back at the Royal Room for it'sb9th year of giving. Curated by Kristin Chambers this event has raised over 100,000 meals for Northwest Harvest over the years-one ticket providing many meals for the food insecure and homeless in the area. As always, the show features some fantastic Seattle area performers in a variety show that will warm your heart. Join Mack Grout, Kristin Chambers, Kimo Muraki, Aleida Gehrels and join in the giving.

The Great Women of Folk and Country Tribute Series highlights the works of some of the most prolific and talented musicians the genre has to offer. Each performance will bring together Seattle’s finest singers to reimagine the works of the featured artists. Curated by Sue Quigley and Kristin Chambers. September 7th: Music of Tracy Chapman, Indigo Girls, and Shawn Colvin Featuring: Kristin Chambers- Band Leader/ piano, Aimee Zoe- Drums, Mike McDermott- Bass, Dave Harmonson(Country Dave) or Emily Harris- Guitar

Doors at 6:30, music begins at 7:30pm. Tickets $20 in advance, $25 at the door.
